Settings
Settings gives administrators control over platform-wide configuration. Today it focuses on two things: adding compliance frameworks and building up the suggested-measures library. The page is available to administrators only.
Adding a framework
Governy supports any number of compliance frameworks. An administrator can add a new framework, or update an existing one, by uploading a framework file from Settings → Frameworks → Upload framework. Once added, the framework immediately appears in the Frameworks Library and can be chosen when creating a new workspace or audit.
A framework definition captures its name, version and description, its scoring scale and result labels, any groupings, and the full hierarchy of requirements. A correctly prepared framework produces a fully functional audit — with assessment, evidence, planning, documentation and approval — with no further setup.
Building the measures library
The platform-wide Suggested Measures library can be seeded or updated from Settings → Measures → Upload measures. This is useful for loading an organisation’s existing control catalogue, refreshing descriptions, or importing control sets from external sources.
