Planning & Tasks

The Planning section is the project-management hub inside an audit. It combines a task board with scheduling so everyone can see what needs to happen to reach compliance — and who’s doing it.

It tracks two kinds of work:

TypeWhat it is
TaskA piece of work tied to a requirement — completing an assessment or providing evidence.
Remediation actionA security control or fix being put in place to close a compliance gap.

The task board

Tasks and remediation actions share a three-column board — To Do, In Progress and Done. Drag a card between columns to update its status; the change saves instantly.

Task cards

Each card shows its title, the requirement it relates to, the people assigned, start and due dates, and its status. From a card you can change status, edit dates, add or remove people, leave a comment, or jump to the related requirement.

Remediation action cards

These sit alongside tasks and show the action’s name, description, owners, schedule, status and whether it came from the suggested-measures library or was created from scratch.

Creating work

Tasks usually appear automatically when someone is assigned to a requirement, but you can also add tasks or remediation actions manually. When creating a remediation action you set a name, description, due date and owners — and you can start from a ready-made control in the Suggested Measures library to pre-fill the details.

Assigning people

Assign one or more colleagues to any card. They’ll see the item in their Dashboard’s My Tasks list straight away. Remove someone with a single click.

Coverage at a glance

A measures coverage figure at the top shows the share of requirements that already have at least one remediation action — helping managers spot the gaps that still lack a plan.

Comments and filtering

Tasks support threaded comments, timestamped and attributed, visible to everyone in the workspace. You can filter the board by status, by assignee, or by type.
