Evidence Collection

The Evidence section gathers all the proof collected across an audit in one place, so you don’t have to open each requirement individually to find, add or manage supporting material.
Evidence is organised simply: each requirement can have one or more evidence entries (a justification, with optional links to remediation actions), and each entry can include documents that carry their own version history.
The evidence table
Each row links a document to a requirement and shows the requirement it supports, the filename, how many versions exist, the written justification, when it was last updated and which version is currently the active reference.
Adding evidence
- Find the requirement you want to support.
- Select Add evidence.
- In the panel that opens, upload a new file, link an existing document from the workspace library, or write a justification.
- Optionally link the remediation action this evidence supports.
- Save.
A manager can also assign a colleague to provide evidence for a requirement, which creates a matching task on the planning board.
Updating a document
If a document already exists as evidence, you can upload a newer version. The new version automatically becomes the active reference everywhere that document is used.
Guided evidence collection
For people whose only job is to supply evidence, a step-by-step wizard presents the requirements assigned to them one at a time, lets them upload files or write justifications, and tracks their progress — no need to learn the full assessment interface.
Storage status
The evidence page shows whether secure document storage is connected. If it isn’t, you’ll see a warning, but you can still collect evidence through the web interface.
Who can do what

Tips
- A single document can support many requirements at once — link it everywhere it applies instead of duplicating it.
- Marking a version as the active reference ensures approvers always review the same file.
