Admin — Users
Ce contenu n’est pas encore disponible dans votre langue.
The Users section gives administrators a single view of every account on the platform. From here you can create accounts, switch them on or off, resend confirmation emails and remove users. This area is for administrators only.
The user list
The table shows everyone on the platform — name, email, whether the account is active and confirmed, when it was created and when the person last signed in — with quick actions to activate or deactivate, resend confirmation or delete. Search by name or email, filter by status, and page through the list.
Creating a user
Fill in the email, first and last name, and choose whether the account is active. You can set a password directly — in which case the person can sign in straight away — or leave it blank, and Governy will email them a link to confirm their address and choose their own password. You can also set an optional expiry date and add internal notes.
New accounts aren’t tied to a workspace yet; add them to one from the workspace edit view, or use a bulk invitation to create the account and assign the role in one step.
Activating and deactivating
Use the status toggle to switch an account on or off. Deactivating stops someone signing in immediately while keeping all their work; reactivating restores access.
Resending confirmations
If someone hasn’t confirmed their email — for example because the link expired — resend the confirmation to send a fresh link.
Removing a user
Deleting an account is permanent, so a confirmation is shown. Their past contributions may remain attributed to them in audit history.
Inviting people to a workspace
From here you can also invite several people to an existing workspace at once: enter the email addresses, choose the workspace and role, and send. New addresses get new accounts; existing ones are simply added to the role without duplicates.
